Tasks software allows you to schedule work for team members to complete at specific dates and times. For example, assign your safety manager a task to complete a safety inspection walk at 11:00 AM on a coming Friday. Or subcontractors might use tasks to request inspections of work they've done ("Please check the concrete pour in the basement of Building 1"). When there are multiple steps involved with a task, simply change the assignee to the next person in the process once a step is complete. Task authors and assignees receive notifications when a given task status changes so you can keep track of everything that's going on.
